# Gameplay Guidelines

Last Updated: February 3, 2026

## 1. Scope and Acceptance

These Gameplay Guidelines govern conduct within Mankind Reborn, a game project operated under the NULLFRAME brand (the "Service"). These Guidelines apply to all players, accounts, and in-game activity.

By accessing or playing the Service, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, the Terms and Conditions, and all other applicable rules and policies published by NULLFRAME. Use of the Service must meet eligibility requirements stated in the Terms and Conditions, including age requirements.

Failure to read or understand these rules does not exempt a player from enforcement action.

## 2. Enforcement Authority and Penalties

Authorized moderators, Game Masters, and staff operating under the NULLFRAME brand are responsible for maintaining a fair, safe, and stable gameplay environment.

Enforcement actions are determined based on severity, impact, intent, and prior account history. Enforcement typically follows progressive discipline; however, NULLFRAME may apply immediate restrictions, suspension, or permanent account closure when warranted by severity, risk, or Service integrity concerns.

**2.1 Penalty Types**

Penalties may include, but are not limited to:

- Official warnings recorded on the account
- Chat or communication restrictions
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account closure

Enforcement actions may also include forfeiture or removal of access, items, currency, progress, or donation perks, where applicable.

**2.2 Discretion**

NULLFRAME reserves the right to evaluate all incidents on a case-by-case basis and to apply penalties or corrective actions deemed necessary to protect the Service and its community.

## 3. Appeals

If an appeal process is made available through the Service, players may submit appeals through official support channels.

Appeals must be submitted within seven (7) business days from the time the enforcement action is issued, unless otherwise specified in the penalty notice. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee review or reversal, and enforcement decisions may be final.

## 4. Language, Conduct, and Harassment

Roleplay expression is permitted; however, abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory conduct is prohibited. These rules apply across all communication channels, including text and voice, and across all languages.

In evaluating violations, context, intent, severity, duration, and impact are considered.

**4.1 Prohibited Conduct**

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

- Hate speech, slurs, or demeaning language targeting protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability
- Threats of real-world harm or disclosure of real-world personal information
- Extreme sexual or violent content
- Persistent harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse
- Obscene or vulgar language directed at other players
- Spam, flooding, or disruptive messaging
- Advertising, solicitation, or promotion of illegal activities
- Use of ideological, religious, or political content to harass or provoke others

Repeated or continued violations may result in escalating penalties, including suspension or account closure.

## 5. Naming Policy

Character names must be appropriate for the game environment and roleplay context.

NULLFRAME reserves the right to require name changes or assign temporary names when a naming violation occurs.

**5.1 Prohibited Naming Content**

Names may not include:

- Obscene, sexual, or violently explicit content
- Hate speech or derogatory references to protected characteristics
- Sexualized, humiliating, or harassing references to identity or orientation
- References to real-world personal information or threats
- Advertisements, promotions, or solicitation
- Names implying official staff status, moderation authority, or administrative roles

**5.2 Restricted Naming Content**

Names may be restricted if they:

- Impersonate real-world brands, copyrighted characters, or individuals
- Consist of nonsensical text intended to disrupt roleplay
- Are long phrases, slogans, or sentences
- Misleadingly imply official titles or restricted affiliations

All naming decisions are made at staff discretion.

## 6. Official Communication Channels

Authorized staff operating under the NULLFRAME brand will communicate only through:

- In-game chat or in-game proximity interactions clearly tagged with [GM], [CM], or [DEV]
- In-game mail clearly tagged with [GM], [CM], or [DEV]
- Official support systems or contact methods made available through the Service

NULLFRAME may publish additional official channels inside the Service. Communications not clearly identified as official should be treated as impersonation and reported.

## 7. Staff Interaction Requirements

Players are required to communicate respectfully with authorized staff and comply with reasonable instructions related to moderation, investigations, or Service integrity. Violations in this context are considered serious.

Prohibited actions include:

- Impersonating staff or claiming false authority
- Refusing to comply with lawful moderation instructions
- Abusive, threatening, or intimidating language toward staff
- Providing false or misleading information during investigations
- Continuing disputes or harassment after staff has formally closed a matter

Authorized staff will never request passwords, payment information, authentication codes, or instruct players to compromise their account or install external software.

## 8. Exploitation and Fair Play

Any action that provides an unfair advantage, harms other players, or destabilizes the Service, its economy, or its infrastructure is prohibited.

NULLFRAME may remove ill-gotten gains, reverse transactions, delete items, roll back characters, reset progress, restrict features, or take other corrective action as necessary to preserve game integrity.

**8.1 Prohibited Exploitation**

Prohibited exploitation includes, but is not limited to:

- Abuse of game systems in ways clearly inconsistent with intended design
- Use of bugs, glitches, or errors to gain advantage
- Intercepting, modifying, or extracting protected client-server data
- Modifying internal game or client files to gain advantage
- Use of unauthorized third-party software, cheats, automation, or tools

Intent is not required for a violation to occur, but it may be considered when determining penalties. Severe or repeated exploitation may result in permanent account closure.

## 9. Final Authority and Hierarchy

These Gameplay Guidelines are incorporated by reference into the Terms and Conditions. If any conflict exists between these Guidelines and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions control.

NULLFRAME retains final authority in all enforcement decisions and may update these Guidelines at any time to protect the Service, its players, and its infrastructure.
